The Luberon, located in the southern part of the Rhône Valley, is characterized by its cold winters and very hot summers. Our grapes draw their strength from 3,000 hours of sunshine every year. The vines grow here at an altitude ranging from 200 m to 400 m on several types of soils: clay, sandy and soils on limestone scree.
The strong and dry wind called Mistral facilitates the work of winemakers by protecting the plants from excessive moisture and cryptogamic diseases, such as oidium and mildew.
Château Isolette is a 45-hectare vineyard located on the border of picturesque departmental road number 3 between Bonnieux and Apt in the heart of the Luberon Regional Nature Park.
The castle is built on a site occupied by man since prehistoric times and the vine is traditionally cultivated here on dry and sunny hillsides.
The clay-limestone terroir is ideal for growing vines.
You have the opportunity to taste our wines all year round in the cellar of our Château.
You can buy our wines directly from the cellar of the Château or order them from our e-shop and then pick them up at the Château.
We are pleased to announce that Château Isolette has just obtained the High Environmental Value level 3 "HVE" certification, this is the highest level of environmental certification in France.
To obtain this certification, 4 main criteria are taken into account:
- Respect for biodiversity (preservation of insects populations, thickets, hedges, etc.)
- Fertilizer management (mainly use of organic amendments)
- Management of phytosanitary treatments (reduction of doses and number of treatments)
- Water and energy management
This certification is recognition of the environmental management ans commitments made by Château Isolette for several years.
